The book is about a boy earning money to get two redhound dogs. Then he catches coons for money. He enters a contest to catch coons. He comes home with one silver cup and one gold cup. My favorite part was when God answers all of the prayers of Billy's family because of the dogs. The book's genre is Realistic Fiction. It was okay. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves dogs.
